USE-IT Glasgow is part of the wider USE-IT Europe network who already have maps in over 20 European cities. These printed maps are created by young locals and are aimed specifically at young travellers. The maps are ad free and provide an unbiased view of a city from a local's perspective. This differs from other tourist information providers which cater for a much larger target market.

Tourists are now seeking 'real' experiences when they go abroad and find out their information from people that they see as 'like them'. By young  locals providing recommendations for young travellers then USE-IT Glasgow can meet the needs of this specific market. The maps will be distributed in hostels and budget accommodation in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We'll also be telling people about what we are doing on our Facebook page and on this blog. By creating good experiences of the city we hope to make people love our city as much as we do!

You can find out more information about the other maps already in the USE-IT network here: www.USE-IT.travel
